Tekken 8 & Chipotle Collaborate For In-Game Rewards For Players

Chipotle has in the last couple of years made a massive push into the world of esports, focusing mostly on the FGC where they have done collaborations with both Capcom and Bandai Namco and are one of the named sponsors of Evo in 2024. 

They have continued their push with Tekken 8 where they announced they would be doing a couple of things. This was announced during the Chipotle x Tekken 8 stream which featured Anakin and PhiDX. The collaboration is an event in Tekken 8 which will task players with defeating 'Chipotle King' for a chance to win different cosmetic items. 

The event will be available from the 23rd of July 2024. 

The push into the FGC by Chipotle has proven successful as a report has found that since their greater involvement in the FGC U.S. esports fans between the ages of 18 and 44 reported a nearly 100% increase in their intent to purchase Chipotle. This shows that there is great merit in brands getting involved in the FGC.
