T1 Part Ways With Ultimate Star Player MkLeo

MkLeo, arguably the best Super Smash Player Ultimate player in the scene, says goodbye to T1. The organization signed the top Mexican player three years ago, almost to the day.

A surprising news, it could never be argued that the release of the star comes off the back of lacking results in tournaments. Just a month ago MkLeo claimed the top step in GENESIS 9, one of Ultimate's most prestigious tournaments, and has achieved more wins than second places and below finishes all throughout his 2022 campaign.

Of course, the question now is which organization will take advantage and offer the top player in the scene a contract. But perhaps more importantly, will he be offered a place at some other team? and if MkLeo is not able to find a supporting organization for SSBU, what of other top competitors in the scene?
