Street Fighter Pros Vote Tekken As The Hardest Game

The Esports World Cup social media team released a short video where they asked Street Fighter 6 pros which of the fighting games was the hardest. This is a question that comes up in the community quite a bit with either side usually stating that their game is harder. These short interviews gave fans a glimpse of what professionals who have probably played both games, really think. 

The interviewer asked AngryBird, Big Bird, Chris Wong, MenaRD, NuckleDu, Punk, Kawano, Problem X, and Tokido for their opinion on the hardest games. Their answers were split with there being 6 votes towards Tekken and 5 for Street Fighter. 

Of the players, Big Bird and Punk had the same opinion which was that Tekken is a harder game to master while Street Fighter is a lot harder to win at. 

This, of course, sparked a conversation with some claiming that it is the mechanics in Street Fighter that make for more volatile matches that make it so hard to be consistent. 

Many resonate with Punk's answer stating that Tekken is quite difficult to master as it has a lot of legacy moves that newer players in the franchise might struggle with. And while Street Fighter 6 might be easier to get good at, there are so many top talents that winning every time is almost impossible.
