Street Fighter League USA Playoffs Postponed Over LA Fires

The last week has been marred by news of the Los Angeles fires which has led to an unprecedented loss of property and there have also been several deaths. Naturally, this would affect a lot of things, and one of the events that has fallen into this category is the Street Fighter League USA playoff. 

The tournament, which was slated for the 18th of January 2025, has now been postponed till further notice. 

Capcom Fighters released a statement where they explained the rationale behind the decision which they said was concern for players, staff, and attendees as the fires have not been completely contained yet. 

They added that they will be issuing refunds to anyone who will be unable to make the event at the later date when it would be set. 

The playoff will feature four teams: Bandits, Fighting Spirit, FlyQuest, and Cloud9 who will fight each other to see who will be the ultimate winner of Street Fighter League USA and will be in contention for the Street Fighter League World Championship
