Capcom continues to be one of the few publishers to continuously post updates about the performance of its games. Today, we're looking at the latest rundown of the best-selling Capcom titles.
Last time we got an update in November 2023, Street Fighter 6 was sitting at a 2.47 Million units, and as of December 31st, it's now at 2.9 million. Certainly a solid performance for a game that is still in its first season, and if Capcom keeps updating the game and supporting the scene, a lifetime goal of 10 million seems very plausible.
For now, it's likely to overtake some of the titles that sit just above it, such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, and DmC: Devil May Cry (3 million sales for each of these games).
Relative to other SF games, it's pretty close to surpassing Street Fighter 4 at 3.5 million units, and then Street Fighter II Turbo at 4.1 million. However, there are still ways to go until the original Street Fighter II and Street Fighter V, sitting at 6.3 and 7.4 sales respectfully.
