Terry Bogard who will be joining the Street Fighter 6 cast later this month has had his theme song released online.
The theme song, known as 'Kurikinton', is an arrangement of the same theme song that was used for the character in Fatal Fury 2/Fatal Fury Special.
The jazzy tune is supposed to be tailor made for Terry's American sensibilities. According to a Japanese fighting game creator, Furious Blog, the song's name is a play on President Bill Clinton who was the leader of the USA when Fatal Fury 2 was released.
He said: "The title comes from Bill Clinton, the president of the United States at the time when Fatal Fury 2 and Fatal Fury SPECIAL were released in arcades. There is a Japanese joke where the president is called "President Crickington" in reference to the Japanese sweet "chestnut kinton". It is said that there is no particular meaning to the name, as it was given an American-sounding name because Terry is an American character."
