Street Fighter 6's New Fighting Pass Disappoints Fans And Players
Players want new content

Street Fighter 6's latest fighting pass was released a little over a day ago and it has generally been received quite poorly with fans wondering when there will be any content for more competitive players.

The fighting pass seems to be inspired by some military themes with new avatar gear and even a new game on the arcade cabinet. But fans continue to question seeing as there has not been any new outfit for the game's characters for over 6 months with the release of costumes for Rashid, AKI, Ed, and Akuma. Before, outfit 3 for characters was released on the 1st of December 2023.

With the game being a year and a half old now, fans consider such a shockingly small amount of DLC as indicative of Capcom's refusal to serve the fans what they want.

Comparatively, Street Fighter V which had a disastrous launch did a much better job in providing content for players and fans with a regular supply of new characters, costumes, and so much more.

Some have wondered if the World Tour mode, which has received nonstop cosmetic upgrades and new content, is as successful and may be the reason behind the lack of character content.

The current situation is a mystery and there have been no answers on Capcom's side either. It is hoped that with Mai Shiranui coming out next month, perhaps she will be released with some good news for fans.
