Street Fighter 6: Pros Give Their Opinion on A.K.I. Trial At TGS
A.K.I was playable at TGS and some of the pros had their say including some fascinating footage

A.K.I is the latest character to join the Street Fighter 6 roster and she drops in less than a week. With her upcoming release, we have slowly been getting updates on the character including her move list which shows she isn't a charge character. We also got a short official guide on the character which showed us some of the impressive things she can do.

However, this cannot take the place of some hands on time with the character and that was exactly what we got to see at the Tokyo Game Show currently happening in Japan. The event which features several games and was the site where Panda for Tekken 8 was revealed, also featured a stand where people could try out A.K.I. for a bit. Unsurprisingly, the line was a long one with one attendee complaining that the wait took over an hour.

Thanks to some of these attendees, we have some footage of A.K.I. including a short video showing when she gets a perfect. Interestingly, her win animation is similar to F.A.N.G. from Street Fighter V, which again solidifies the connection between the two.

Some pros also tried A.K.I. out and shared their thoughts. Johnny, a player for Shinobism who currently mains Manon, talked about some of his thoughts regarding A.K.I. He tweeted:

AKI Miscellaneous - The normal moves are a little quirky, but the special moves are bullets, lunges, and invincible anti-aircraft Shoryu-like moves, so it's surprisingly easy to use.

- Can't cancel MK- It seems like you can get up and attack if both throws are at the edge of the screen. You can probably do judo as well. It seems like you can do it from the previous stage to the run. The maximum doesn't seem to be that high considering poison damage?

One of the points of interest that Johnny brought up was A.K.I. medium kick which he seems to say can't cancel after Drive Rush. This is a sentiment that was also shared by Gamers8 winner, Kakeru, who said that there seems to be no MK once you do Drive Rush. He also added that she feels like Seth in Street Fighter V.

We'll certainly learn more when the character drops on the 27th of this month.
