Street Fighter 6 Introduces New Battle Hub Event, Giant Attack

With the Street Fighter 6 patch notes now live, players are scrambling to see what the changes are to their favourite characters. That said, Capcom, who have been steadily giving casual players content to enjoy especially with Battle Hub, have added another event known as Giant Attack. 

The limited time event will require players to defeat a Giant Akuma in the middle of the Battle Hub by firing projectiles at him. 

To do so, players will have to battle SiRN Akuma on the cabinets. The level 8 AI-controlled Akuma is no joke and with victory comes energy to fire hadokens at the giant Akuma in the hub. For those who do really well, they will be rewarded with an additional outfit color for Akuma.

On top of that, Street Fighter 6 is also introducing new  challenge screen customizations. The new ones are comic book inspired drawings from Kangyaku, the artist who does the 'You've Got This, Juri!' comics. 

The screens only add more flavor to the game and gives players the ability to show off more of their personality when challenging an opponent. 

The Giant Attack event lasts from the 22nd to the 31st of May 2024.
