Skullgirls World Championship Prize Pool Goes Up To $16,000

The Skullgirls community were greeted with incredible news that the upcoming Skullgirls World Championship will feature a prize pool of $16,000+. 

This is a big pool for a game that isn't among the bigger titles like Street Fighter or Tekken.

The Skullgirls prize pool got this way thanks to fans who participated in a limited time offer on the Skullgirls mobile game. The proceeds from that offer all went towards the prize pot and they were able to raise an incredible $11,063 which is what led to the increase in the prize pool.

The Skullgirls World Championship will take place on the 25th of May during Combo Breaker with the winner taking a chunk of the pooled money.
