Skullgirls 2nd Encore Shows More Marie Pre-Alpha Gameplay

Publisher Autumn Games and developer Hidden Variable Studios have published new pre-alpha gameplay for Marie, who will be coming soon to Skullgirls 2nd Encore. The central antagonist of the series, previously only available for battle as the final boss, will finally become playable in 2023:

Marie is bedecked in a maid uniform and fights with a cool-looking hoover which she uses to hit the opponents. This follows Skullgirls' practice of equipping their characters with weird weapons. 

Marie will be the fourth DLC in the Season 1 Pass, following Black Dhalia. The release date of the fighter has not yet been announced, but judging by the presented gameplay fragment, the team is actively working on finishing and testing the character.
