Skullgirls 2nd Encore at CEOtaku 2023

The CEOtaku 2023 fighting game tournament hosted an intense Skullgirls competition featuring the top players. Skullgirls: 2nd Encore is a fast-paced 2D indie fighting game known for its excellent animation and demanding combos. The competitors showed off their skills with the game's diverse roster of characters and teams.

The grand finals match was a nail-biter that went down to the wire. A strong player, Cloud faced off against Dekillsage, another top competitor. Dekillsage started strong in the first round, using his Filia, Cerebella, and Big Band team to inflict significant damage. However, Cloud struck back in the same round with his team of Ms. Fortune, Painwheel, and Big Band. He scored an early win against Dekillsage's squad.

Though Cloud later switched to a Double, Valentine, and Cerebella team, the match remained close. In the final moments, both players were down their last fighters; Dekillsage clutched it with barely any health left, landing clutch throws into a Level 3 super. After an intense grand final, Dekillsage emerged victorious as the CEOtaku 2023 Skullgirls champion.
