Team RRQ, or Rex Regum Qeon, an Indonesian esports team that usually focuses on various games including VALORANT, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and more, has made its first foray into the world of fighting games with Tekken 8.

For this, they have recruited as their first player, none other than, Kim Hyun-jin, better known as JDCR. The Tekken legend is considered one of the greatest players ever with Evo wins and so many other legendary results.

To announce his signing, they presented a video on social media which showed off JDCR's many trophies and was a testament to his legacy and standing within the FGC.

In their statement on the official website, RRQ explained that the signing of JDCR has everything to do with the addition to the Esports World Cup partner program, and they are hoping to give their chances of a good outing at the EWC later this year a boost with the addition of JDCR.

They also hinted that there is more to come, which could mean that they still have plans to sign players in Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury: CotW

JDCR was with Karmine Corps until earlier this year when he left the team, and with his status within the game, it makes sense that he will join up with such a big team.
