Ren & Stimpy in NASB 2: Gameplay Overview

The developers obviously emphasize diversity of the character roster and depth of the fighting mechanics

The original game committed a lot of mistakes, from not having voice acting to a kind of shallow fighting system. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 may make the promises of that release finally work — through the hard reboot.

So far, we can see quite a few positive aspects of the upcoming game. And they are not only about adding the basic technical features, such as cross-play. Every new character spotlight video we see highlights a well-elaborated moveset. Potentially, the players get a variety of awesome tools to prove their skills and talent, have fun on the beginner level and go deep into tricky mechanics. Well, considering the experience with the first game, I personally keep being cautious. Let’s wait for the release to see everything in one pack (what about a proper balance?).

This new video breaks down the abilities of Ren & Stimpy. Unlike El Tigre, they are returning fighters.

The design and moveset of Ren & Stimpy were completely refreshed. The duo is focused on the defensive style with space control tools, high mobility in the air, and slow projectiles.

Ren & Stimpy look quite the opposite of Raphael, who is more of a rushdown. What character archetype do you prefer?
