RedDitto Wins AWT 2024 And Details Revealed For AWT 2025
The American made history

RedDitto, an American Guilty Gear -STRIVE- player has made history with his most recent win at the ARC World Tour finals for Guilty Gear -STRIVE-. He defeated Rang13 in the Grand Final with a convincing 3-1 win.

RedDitto has done something remarkable as he has become the first player in fighting game history to qualify for a tournament via the LCQ and go on to win the entire thing. The closest to doing this was Zhen in Street Fighter V a few years ago when he won the LCQ and went on to defeat everyone until he got to the final and was defeated by MenaRD.

RedDitto's run was pretty dominant winning all 12 games he was involved in and having a game record of 36 wins and 6 losses.

This win ensures he has $50,000 in winnings and was the only American to win in any of the games for the AWT.

ARC Systems also took the chance to announce some 2025 AWT details including the fact that it will feature the same three games that featured this time around which are Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, Granblue Versus: Rising, and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes. The qualifiers will start from Evo Japan 2025 with the winner of that tournament booking an automatic spot at next's year's showpiece.

More details on the tour will be shared later including the prizing and location.
