Red Bull Kumite Japan Qualifier Announced

The Red Bull Kumite Qualifier livestream for Japan has been announced and will take place on Saturday the 2nd of March 2024. 

The RBK Japan Qualifier is a tournament featuring over 500 players all fighting for a spot in the play-in tournament which then gives the winner a spot in the main Red Bull Kumite event.

There are eight players competing in the play-in tournament, including representatives from Japan, Italy, France, and Canada. Then three players from the USA qualifiers and the winner of the Red Bull 'Hit the Streets' event. 

Last year also saw a Japanese qualifier with the winner earning a spot in the Last Chance Qualifier in South Africa. On that occasion, Kakeru was the winner of the Japanese qualifier and also turned out to be the winner of the Last Chance Qualifier, destroying EndingWalker in the process. He made it all the way to 3rd place at the Kumite and his star started to rise from that point. 

This year's Red Bull Kumite takes place in New York on the 16th and 17th of March 2024.
