His first premiere win since 2024
NoahTheProdigy has emerged as the winner of Ultimate Fighting Arena 2026 for Street Fighter 6. The USA pro player defeated Japan’s Higuchi to win his first major of 2026 and book his place at Capcom Cup.
Noah went through the losers bracket after losing his first Top 8 match to AngryBird. He then went on to defeat Kobayan, Tantamen, and AngryBird to set up his Grand Final against Higuchi’s Guile.
While the other Top 8 players couldn’t get the win they wanted, they did get points on the Capcom Pro Tour global leaderboard, which will admit the top eight-placing players into Capcom Cup.
With Higuchi’s placement, he shoots up to the top of the table with 730 points. Kobayan, who finished the tournament in fifth place, also climbed to sixth place on the table with 510 points. These positions more or less confirm their entry into Capcom Cup, as there is only one more Premier, Evo France 2026, where players can get points.
This leaves other players with their World Warrior regions to try and qualify for Capcom’s showpiece event, which takes place in 2027.
Noah will now aim to win Capcom Cup, something he has already hinted at as a goal in one of his tweets, where he said he will have a season like MenaRD’s in 2017, which saw the top Street Fighter player win his first Capcom Cup.
Capcom Cup will run from March 10 to 14, 2027.
