Red Bull Kumite 2024: Big Bird 'Offended' By LI Joe Trash Talk

Big Bird, who won the Red Bull Kumite event in South Africa in 2023, has spoken up about the epic roasting he received at the hands of Long Island Joe during 2024's Red Bull Kumite. 

In the tournament, Big Bird lost to South Korea's Leshar and as was customary at the event, he was to hand over his battle card, but this time, LI Joe took his card and then handed it back telling him to 'Go home and give it to the better bird' in reference to his training partner and Evo winner, AngryBird. 

The roast immediately went viral with many pleased with the more grassroots feel of the event with LI Joe even later stating that it was all done in jest and in character. 

Big Bird on his stream, reacted to it and said he considers this the best event he had ever been to, and also added that he only took offence to the fact that he was allowed to keep his battle card while everyone else who lost had theirs taken away. 

He would later in the stream 'give it to the better bird' when he was joined in the room by AngryBird who he then handed the card over to. 

He played around with some Ed and even had time to suffer another roast in his chat from Punk who called his Ed trash.
