Red Bull Announces Rise of the Birds Documentary

On the 12th of February 2024, Evo 2023 winner, AngryBird, and Red Bull Kumite 2023 winner, Big Bird, teased a new project that they would be doing in collaboration with Red Bull. 

Now we know that the project is a documentary that will follow the rise of these athletes and the rivalry that exists between them.

Big Bird made his big splash back in 2019 when he was runner up at Evo 2019 and AngryBird made top 8 at Capcom Cup 2018 losing out to Itabashi Zangief who was really flying high that year.

The two players are great friends and even run a YouTube channel together.

The documentary is going to be released on the 15th of February and will be premiered on the Red Bull YouTube channel while fans can attend a watch-along with the birds on their Twitch. 

The birds will be together again competing in Capcom Cup which kicks off this weekend.
