Pure and TheMightyUnjust Win a 2v2 MK1 Tourney

Only a couple of days ago, we made a post about two Mortal Kombat 1 weekly tournaments — one player won both, TheMightyUnjust.

And now, the guy forms a strong team with another MK1 esports professional, Pure, to participate in a team-based tournament. The competition has been organized by Infinitii.

The format is quite interesting, as teammates replace each other to reach one common goal (sure, it’s the victory). Let’s enjoy the show!

MK1 Esports | Deadly Alliance 2V2

TheMightyUnjust and Pure named their team Chain With The Hat, Hat With The Chain. Their run in this tournament is quite impressive.

The team of Chicuelo and Acorazado was named The DR boyz. These guys had the same level of success, and lost only two matches — to the tournament winners.

This competition is a very good example of how tournament organizers can implement the idea of team matches in fighting esports.

Another tournament uses a similar formula but significantly intensifies it — MK1 12 v 12 Showdown happens within East Coast Showdown 2023.
