Off the Ground Esports Showcase Innovative New Streaming Tool

As the FGC continues to grow and streaming becomes more of a mainstay in the space, new innovations will always be needed to making fighting game content more accessible. So, in news that you might have missed, an esports tech development, Off the Ground esports, showcased their newest creation: One Frame.

One Frame is an FGC streaming tool that gives viewers a deeper understanding of what they are watching on screen. How it works is this: If a creator installs the extension locally, a viewer can, while the creator is streaming, move their cursor around and place it on some of the elements on the screen. When this happens, a card will unfurl explaining what that element is and how it works. 

For instance, if a viewer is watching a streamer stream Guilty Gear -STRIVE- and hovers their cursor over the tension gauge, a little pop-up will come out explaining what the tension gauge is and how it works. 

Furthermore, the viewer doesn't have to install anything, as long as the creator has One Frame installed, it will work as intended. 

It seems the extension is only available for GGST at the moment, but the feedback so far seems good. It'll be interesting to see if more and more creators start to use something like this and if the developers go on to create One Frame for other fighting games. 

Off the Ground Esports are a pretty new player on the scene as their Twitter account was only opened last month and they don't even have a website that anyone can visit. But it is hoped that they will grow from this and become a mainstay in the space.
