NoahTheProdigy Books His Place At Capcom Cup

Noah Solis, better known as NoahTheProdigy booked his place in Capcom Cup for the first time with an amazing win over at Blink Respawn defeating Dual Kevin 3-1 in Grand Finals to get his ticket.

Blink Respawn 2024 was one of the most entertaining tournaments in a while with the Dominican Republic and talent from all over America really coming through. 

Of note were the two young Chilean players, Blaz, who has already qualified for Capcom Cup, and Craime who isn't as well known as Blaz, but certainly took the spotlight in this tournament with a 4th place finish. 

Nain Jr. was another player that came to the forefront with a tremendous performance finishing in 5th place, but to get there, he defeated MenaRD, one of the favourites to take the entire competition, not once, but twice. He eventually fell to Dual Kevin, but it was a performance to remember especially considering that he is from Honduras, and Blink Respawn was his first tournament where he had to travel.

It will be Noah's first high level tournament win in his career having been really close at The MixUp but losing in Grand Finals. The champion also took the time to share a very funny anecdote about how his father will throw away his homework and make him watch replays of Japanese players all day. Now he is reaping the fruits of it and has the chance to contend for a very juicy $1m from Capcom Cup. 

On the other side, it is disappointment for Dual Kevin who was also denied a spot at Capcom Cup by MenaRD at Cream City Convergence and has now suffered the same fate again at the hands of Noah.

The last offline tournament for qualification into Capcom Cup comes up in December with Kings Of The World which will hold in the UK from the 13th to the 15th of December 2024.
