No new info on NRS' latest project at MK 30 celebrations - Ed Boon

Ed boon, Mortal Kombat's series founder and director, took to twitter earlier today to clarify that, although there will be plenty to celebrate in the 30th year anniversary of the franchise, NetherRealm Studios is not yet ready to show off what they are working on.

Some have taken this to mean that NRS' latest project might not be a new Mortal Kombat title, pointing to Injustice as a likely candidate. Others theorized that perhaps there might be no new content but that older games might be remastered or brought up to modern systems.
