Nintendo Cancels Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo Due To Safety Concerns

Nintendo Japan cancelled several scheduled events in Tokyo after its employees received threats. The Splatoon Koshien 2023 National Finals planned for December 16-17 and Nintendo Live 2024 scheduled for January 20-21 are now cancelled. Also, several events, including the Splatoon 3 World Championship and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship, are postponed. Masahiro Sakurai also shared that the Super Smash Bros. tournament is also put on hold. 

Considering these changes in schedule of Nintendo events, possible announcements may also be impacted.
