Recently a new Tekken 8 tech has been making the rounds, "tech" is a generous world here, but still. Twitter user dylnyan showed off that you can get some of the higher execution moves without any extra difficulty by simply pianoing the Special Style shortcut.
Immediately this raised a storm. Both because people wanted to use it, and because people thought this is extremely busted. It's easy to look at this and think that this is some meta-defining trick that eliminates execution, and to some extent, it definitely does, but let's take a look at this from a wider angle.
Doing moves in special style comes with a disadvantage. Sure, you get the just frame, but you are doing it slower. For example, Reina's electric coming out at i18 due to the number of motion frames before the move is actually activated. Yes, you are technically removing the execution aspect, but we all know how extremely important even a single frame can be in a fighting game, especially one like Tekken, where the overall slower speed of the moves gives the players more time to capitalize on frame data.
To put it simply, it's an interesting find, but you shouldn't worry about it harming the game or providing an unfair advantage.
