New Message From Project L Game Designer
Long wait ahead, but more news are coming

MarlinPie, one of the game designers working on Project L and a fairly well known member of the FGC has recently posted a message to those who attended Riot Games ONE.

This message contains some new details about the game that should be at least moderately exciting to those who are waiting for it with bated breath.

He opens up with a short intro that re-introduces Project L, a League of Legends tag-based free-to-play fighting game, where you have an option to team up and play 2v2 or 2v1. They also wish to make it fun and accessible enough, to enable more players to get in on fighting games, and experience what makes them fun.

After recounting the success of showing off the Project L at this year's Evo, MarlinPie goes into an announcement about the next logical step. Project L demo will be available during Evo Japan, and give a completely new audience a chance to experience the game as well.

Riot seems committed to testing the game properly, and gathering community feedback as much as possible. The increase in frequency of demos and playtests also certainly makes it seem like they are getting close to the finish line.

Let's hope that we don't have to wait too long before we get another update on this game, and maybe even get to mash things out in the open beta.
