New Infinite Combos Discovered in Tekken 8
Season 2 is a gift that keeps on giving.

Another week, another new bug discovered in Tekken 8 Season 2.

While emergency patch may have made a few things better, the game is far from being in a healthy state, and one of the emergency fixes actually introduced the possibility of many new infinite combos.

One of the new changes removed the ability to go into Heat Dash while hitting a grounded opponent. Sounds on paper and is actually a good change, but the problem is that these moves will still send the opponent flying as if the Heat Dash was performed.

After that, all it takes to execute an infinite combo is to keep hitting the opponent just as they become grounded, with difficulty varying greatly depending on the specifics of their attacks.

I AM OP being quick on the draw as usual has already managed to put together a quick compilation of what this actually looks like in the game.

In theory, this should be a fairly trivial fix for the developers, but it remains to be seen how long the whole process will actually take, for now we can only wait for another patch that they planned to drop some time during May.

Until then, both you and your opponents have a chance to pull it off during the actual matches, although the execution requirements and the setup required for a proper infinite do not appear all that likely.
