NASB 2 Esports: The Slime Box #2

It seems like the esports dimension of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is growing, and Hubgrybox’s efforts are quite essential for this. The famous Smash player has organized the second event of his series The Slime Box. The number of attendees is quite impressive, and it gives hope for the bright future of this platform fighter.

Unlike at The Slime Box #1, there was no Lucy in this tournament’s Top 8. And in general, some new characters reached the Finals part.

Plup fell to the lower brackets in Pools, but that probably gave the player some extra motivation, as he lost no game till the Losers Semi. And even that was one point in a 3:1 match. Plup’s run took him to the Grand Final, and after the brackets reset, to the decisive fight.

Gertie by Stango was stopped, and Gerald by Plup became the winning character.

The Slime Box is quite an interesting series that proves the game’s esports potential. Hopefully, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will be able to reach the level of big offline events.
