Early access for Mortal Kombat 1 is out and a lot of fans already have their hands on Netherrealm Studios' latest offering and for the most part people are pretty pleased with it especially the story mode which they say might be the best of any fighting game.
However, the game is going to be receiving a day one patch which is hoped will fix some of the issues. One of the examples of things that could do with some fixing was pointed out by popular fighting game YouTuber, Rooflemonger, who showcased what seemed to be a problem with Reiko's Fatal Blow grab.
In the very short video, Reiko goes to Fatal Blow the opponent and is causally hit out of it by a normal move meaning the grab whiffed at point blank range.
According to Rooflemonger, he said this was a consistent problem as he had tried it with other characters too and they could avoid the grab with very simple normals which doesn't seem like a good thing for Reiko.
It seems this is a bug, but if it isn't it'll mean Reiko is certainly unsuitable as a grappler which is what he is generally touted to be.
