The Mortal Kombat franchise's expansion into the animated realm continues to expand. After the success of their yearly releases since 2021, it seems Warner Brothers is happy to give fans more animated MK goodness. This time, Jim Vejvoda of IGN had the exclusive on the voice cast and plot of the upcoming Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match movie.
The cast includes returning legends, like Joel McHale, who previously voiced Johnny Cage in Battle of the Realms and Scopion's Revenge. Shinnok will be voiced once more by Robin Atkin Downes, and Raiden by Dave B. Mitchel, who is also returning to the cast. The rest of the cast is comprised of:

- Matthew Mercer (Resident Evil: Death Island) as Director/Bully
- Armen Taylor (Justice Society: World War II) as Master Boyd
