Mortal Kombat II Hits Theaters October 24, First Teaser Released

Warner Bros. has officially announced that Mortal Kombat II, the sequel to 2021’s Mortal Kombat, will arrive in theaters and IMAX on October 24. The announcement came with a trailer featuring the franchise’s iconic character Johnny Cage, played by the  New Zealand actor Karl Urban.

The sequel continues the story of Earthrealm’s fighters as they face off against their Outworld rivals, building on the events and characters introduced in the previous movie. No plot details have been revealed yet, but the teaser suggests the return of familiar faces and the same gritty, violent style the series is known for.

Fans can catch Mortal Kombat II exclusively in theaters and IMAX this October.
