Mortal Kombat 11 at East Coast Throwdown 2022: A New Winner Emerges

Daniel 'TheMightyUnjust' Talbot was the winner of the Mortal Kombat 11 tournament over at East Coast Throwdown. He took the grand finals, 3-0, against ELCucuy, who also happens t be his twin brother. In a feat that suggests a callback to the dominance of the Chilean brothers, Scorpionprocs and Nicolas, the Talbots did really well to make it into grand finals together, but it was the slightly more famous brother, TheMightyUnjust, who took the win in a flawless performance. 

While the bracket for Mortal Kombat 11 was not the largest, and we did not see some of the big hitters like the aforementioned Chileans, Rewind, or Honeybee, it still had a fair few top players like Aztec and Typhoon. TheMightyUnjust was clinical in his gameplay, only dropping one game in his top 8 run which is a pretty impressive achievement.
