Rain's Gameplay Basics

Best Buttons

• D3: Although not safe, but a good startup speed and can be canceled into special reliably.
• F2: A mid , although somewhat slow to come out. Its string into F2,1 and F2,1,3 are safe.

Best Strings

• S1,1: safe string, including its ender with 2 and 4, which have great pushback.
• S4,3,2: Safe and great for his mix-ups. It can also be canceled out.
• S2,1,1,2: very hard to read and a great tool to disrupt opponents.

Specials

• BF4: By holding forward or back, you can pick to either throw it far, close, or if no directional input is held, in the middle.
• DDU: Like BF4, you can choose its distance by holding the appropriate direction. You can also cancel it.
• DB3: You can hold forward to cast it a bit further away from you. Combo ender too.
• BF1: You can either have it be quick or hold back and charge a larger attack.
• DB2: Teleporter, you can use it for a combo if they get close to it.
