MK1 Showtime: Reptile Action at COTR Arena W7

The first season of Champions of the Realms finished with NinjaKilla’s victory. MK1 COTR Season 2 is right around the corner (Week 1 Top 8 happens on January 11). And in addition to this main competition, we can enjoy show matches of the series COTR Arena.

These events highlight Mortal Kombat 1 fights of invited players. The sets are long: Ft5 and Ft10 (main event). At COTR Arena Week 7, we could witness these matches:

The first set was Bandinoz vs JustNasty. It started as Rain/Stryker vs Smoke/Scorpion, but then JustNasty experimented with different kameos: Sareena and Sub-Zero. Bandinoz also took Jax as a kameo for a couple of rounds. Bandinoz won 5:2.

The second set was K7 Showoff vs HEYHAM — Sub-Zero/Sareena vs General Shao/Kung Lao. Both players stuck with their character choices throughout the whole match. K7 Showoff won 5:0.

The main event of MK1 COTR Areena Week 7 was the match FOREVEREL1TE vs HoneyBee — Liu Kang/Frost vs Reptile/Shujinko / Reptile/Scorpion. It was so intense, with a lot of back and forth moments. The players brought the action to round 19, and HoneyBee won 10:9 (having Scorpion as a kameo for most rounds).
