Mister Crimson Back For Red Bull Kumite After Invited Player Backs Out
He'll be replacing his countryman in the tournament

The winner of the Red Bull Kumite event 2021 in London, Mister Crimson, has been drafted as one of the 14 invited players to participate in the tournament after the exit of one of his compatriots.

According to the Red Bull Gaming social media account, Valmaster is unable to make the event due to what they termed as 'personal reasons' meaning he would not participate in Red Bull Kumite this year.

This also has some further ramifications for the event as Mister Crimson had already qualified for the Play-In tournament which will take place tomorrow. With his place now vacated, the spot has been given to fellow Frenchman, Kusanagi who was the runner-up at the Play-In qualifying even for France.

This means that Space Boy, who was set to be Mister Crimson's opponent, will now have to contend with another player entirely. This could be a blow for Space Boy who might have been preparing to face Dhalsim and now has to deal with the Luke mirror match.

Red Bull Kumite starts today with a Last Chance Qualifier and then the Play-In tournament tomorrow, the 16th of March 2024 before the main event takes place on Sunday, 17th March 2024.

You can catch all the action on Twitch and YouTube.
