The team is gearing up for their showdown in the playoffs

Street Fighter League playoff qualifiers, Team Bandits, traveled to Japan to train for the start of the new year.

Typically, MenaRD represents the Falcons team but is also on the Bandits team for the duration of the Street Fighter League USA. He is also known to travel to Japan on occasion for training stints which has yielded results for him. This time, the team which included Mena, Caba, and Luiman, all made the trip and have been training since.

The 4th member of the team, Zhen, recently signed with KSG and placed second in the recently finished FightClub Century Battle 3, has been absent so far, but could quite easily join his teammates in Japan to also train.

Amongst other things, the team trained with Tokido and the rest of the REJECT team, and Mena will even be taking part in the upcoming Topanga Charity Cup which will be held on the 12th of January 2025.

Bandits are the current local and world champions of SFL, and qualified for the playoffs of the current season on the final day in a dramatic match where MenaRD defeated NL to book a spot in the playoffs. They will have a chance to defend their title on the 18th of January 2024 when a new champion (or old) will be crowned.
