The Marvel mobile PvE Fighting Game reaches a milestone moment

Marvel Contest of Champions is a PvE fighting game released on mobile devices at the tail end of 2014. It is the rare title to have continued development over the past ten years, especially when compared to other fighting game adjacent ventures, such as Mortal Kombat Onslaught's early departure after less than a year.

Instead, it looks as if MCoC has been quietly growing its game over the past decade, with over 200 playable characters and events, some of which are their own original creations for the Marvel universe. Starting this week, they are also announcing more improvements and additions over the coming months to celebrate those ten years.

Part of that will be the classic Halloween event, accompanied by rebalances of various Glorious Guardians, starting with Medusa and Purgatory. The game's framerate will also be bumped to what has now become standard for gaming: 60 frames per second

The new Glorious Games saga, the season-long content drops, was also announced.
