Kim Kaphwan to Be Playable At Evo Japan 2023

Season 2 of The King of Fighters XV is underway with the release of Shingo Yabuki, but SNK has revealed that there is so much more on the horizon especially the release of veteran character Kim Kaphwan who will be available from this spring.

SNK has also announced that Kim Kaphwan will be playable first at Evo Japan 2023 in their SNK booth, which will be at the Evo venue.

Evo Japan 2023 will take place between 31st March and 2nd April. Along with some of the mainline games like Street Fighter V and Tekken 7, King of Fighters will also be available at the tournament. Also, SNK have stated that they will be holding four other tournaments for some of their classic games, including KOF '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition, Samurai Shodown, GAROU: Mark of the Wolves, and Fatal Fury Special.

Kim Kaphwan is the second character to be released in this second season of the King of Fighters XV, and we have been promised four other characters, including Sylvie Paula Paula, Najd, and two other mystery characters who will be announced later. 

Kim Kaphwan is one of the earlier characters in KOF, appearing in KOF 94 and 95. He is usually part of Team Korea Justice, but it is unknown if the other members of his team will return for KOF 15.
