Joe Umerogan Changes Gamertag, Reveals Real Name
The 2-time Capcom Cup finalist reveals his name change

One of the top players from US/Canada East, Thunder De Langis, who has qualified for Capcom Cup twice, has revealed a change in his gamertag to — Thunder.

Thunder, who most people might know as JOE UMEROGAN, has been a dominant force in the FGC since the days of Street Fighter V where his measured play, usually with high tier characters, was a huge threat on the scene.

He made the announcement on his social media saying that he had pondered the decision for a while and that he never expected he'd be so good in the game and it kind of just stuck. So now, he'd be going by Thunder.

With a first name that unique, you can imagine there were quite a few commentsof people asking if his name is really Thunder and if they can call him Big Thunder, or some other variation.

Thunder will be hoping he can make another appearance at Capcom Cup as he currently sits in 11th place on the World Warrior ranking and with Punk automatically qualified for Capcom Cup, this means there are two spots available regardless of what Punk does for the rest of the season.
