iDom Advocates For Damage Nerf In Street Fighter 6
The former Capcom Cup winner is looking for some big changes for season 2

The 2019 winner of Capcom Cup, iDom, sat down on stream to discuss his hopes for season 2 of Street Fighter 6 and one of his biggest wishes is for a universal damage nerf for all characters in the game.

iDom's start to life in Street Fighter 6 has been a little muted as he has yet to win any of the top tournaments, but considering the game is still in its relative infancy, this is not too surprising. Speaking on his video, he outlined 5 changes he would want in Street Fighter 6.

He talked first about the removal of the anti-air perfect parry which allows players to perfect parry a jump as an alternative to an actual anti-air. According to iDom, this rewards a player that could possibly be  failing at one of the most basic foundations of fighting games: knowing how to anti-air.

His final item on his wishlist was for a universal damage nerf for all characters as he felt that the current level of damage took something away from the game. He used Luke as an example who when close to death could do 50% damage with the most basic combo into level 3 critical art.

With season 2 still a little ways out, it remains to be seen what changes will be implemented, but we'll know soon enough.
