Guilty Gear -Strive- to Receive Network Security Patch on September 25
Arc System Works
Will Hackerman be defeated?

For quite some time, Guilty Gear -Strive- players have been facing severe exploit, which led to different problems with the game. You could see your in-game name or stats changed, and that would be the best case. In the worst case the memory leak made the game unplayable.

On August 13, the senior esports manager of Arc System Works acknowledged the problem, and now we have the date of the next patch that could possibly eliminate the exploit.

According to Ken Miyauchi, the producer of Guilty Gear -Strive-, a new security patch will be released on September 25. However, it seems that even the development team is not sure if it will finally solve the problem. Considering the Hackerman exploit existed for many months, such an attitude is unsurprising and understandable. Let's hope this patch will be enough.
