Four Finals of Brawlhalla World Championship (one more to go)
Pic Source: Brawlhalla YouTube
We already know winners in Europe, South America, Australia, and Southeast Asia. And what amazing fights those tournaments were!

Have you guys seen the BCX Finals? I dare say it’s an essential thing for becoming a better Brawlhalla player. Watching those high-skilled guys performing amazing miracles on the fighting stages — not only is this an entertaining experience, but also it’s an effective way to absorb various tricks into your playing style. It might even help you expand your active Brawlhalla combo arsenal (for example, check out how the players throw their weapons).

The Brawlhalla World Championship is a huge event for the community. It’s a wonderful celebration, and we at DashFight are happy to share with you guys its results and have an additional excuse to watch again a match or two (or at least all the Grand Finals).

Four Brawlhalla 2021 Champions have already been determined in four regions. Let’s take a look at the fights in each of them.

BCX 2021 Australia, and Southeast Asia | Brawlhalla World Championship

In Australia, it was especially interesting watching fights between Dummy and Kylar Alice.

Both defeated their Quarter-Final opponents rather easily.

In the Semi-Final, Dummy played against Amayze. First, the players exchanged games, both having great moments. Then, Dummy decided to abandon for a while their Asuri (Katars and Sword) and go to game 3 with Ragnir (Katars and Axe). A bitter mistake of Amayze (Koji) gave Dummy an early advantage, and it seemed like Amayze couldn’t properly recover in that match.

Kylar Alice had a match against Doggo in the Semi-Final, and that was a tough fight. Kylar Alice started with Jhala (Sword and Axe) and lost the first game. For the second game (and the rest of this match), the player selected Bodvar (Hammer and Sword). Kylar Alice won two games in a row, but then Doggo brought the situation to the final game. Bodvar had an amazing start there, with a quick first KO, and Kylar Alice did not let this victory slip out of their hands.

Dummy and Kylar Alice met for the first time in the Winners Final. That was a match of Asuri vs Jhala. The final score of 3:0 totally doesn’t reflect the flow of this fight. The match had so many back-and-forth situations, but still, Kylar Alice managed to get that final KO first and secure their games. (Guys, treat yourself to watching the final moments of the fight — the power of edge-guarding).

To return to the Grand Final, Dummy had to defeat Doggo in the Losers Final. That was a difficult match, but the result was worth the effort.

In the Grand Final Reset, Kylar Alice played Jhala again, but Dummy decided to switch to Ragnir. First, Kylar Alice had an amazing advantage, but in the second game, Dummy managed to recover a bit and started giving a really good fight (even brought the match to a 1:1 situation). Still, that was the peak for Dummy. Even the decision to take Asuri for the fourth game did not save the player.

Kylar Alice is the Australian Brawlhalla Champion in 2021. Congratulations!

Tiger had a remarkable run in Southeast Asia. This player started from a confident win in the Quarter-Finals match against jerryK. The opponent tried to play three (!) characters (Petra, Rayman, and Ragnir) and still lost all three games to Koji.

The run of sire had not a good start. This player was defeated 0:3 by himwy in the Quarter-Final.

The Winners Semi-Final fight against Holox was much tougher for Tiger. Koji and Brynn had their ups and downs. Both were very close to victory. Holox almost made a comeback from 1:2, but in the final game, Tiger got an early set lead and eventually won the match.

DolaN and Holox were two opponents sire had to defeat in the Losers Round 1 and Quarter-Final. These were pretty easy victories. Probably, the initial failure motivated sire to play on top of their abilities. At this point, sire already played four different characters: Bodvar, Mordex, Jhala, and Teros.

Probably, the most difficult match for sire in the Losers bracket was the Semi-Final against Vortex. That was a back-and-forth match. Both players took Bodvar and Teros. sire won only in the very last (and super close) round.

In the Winners Final, Tiger played against Reaper. First, Reaper selected Brynn (Axe and Spear), but Koji of Tiger looked somehow more accurate with his weapons and won the first game. For the next game, Reaper took Mordex (Scythe and Gauntlets). Maybe, that character choice was pretty surprising, and Reaper got a quick victory in the game. But then, Tiger adapted well to the opponent’s style and won two games in a row. In the fourth one, Tiger controlled the space and the situation in general very well.

Reaper could not return from the Losers bracket. It was sire who fought against Tiger in the Grand Final.

sire defeated Reaper in the Losers Final 3:1 (while adding Koji to their roster).

The first Grand Final was almost disastrous for Tiger. The player had to switch from Koji (Bow and Sword) to Thor (Hammer and Orb). sire looked unstoppable.

Tiger tried to return to the game during the Grand Final Reset. The player picked up Koji again and lost game 1. Then, they took Brynn to try and stand against Bodvar of sire. But even one won game did not change the final result. 3:1 and sire is the Brawlhalla 2021 Champion in Southeast Asia. Congratulations!

BCX 2021 Europe | Brawlhalla World Championship

Europe is traditionally a strong region for Brawlhalla, and there were quite a lot of attendees for the World Championship 2021 Finals.

If you want to concentrate on the main fights, follow the runs of two players: Swata and simpLe. Both have Bodvar as the main character. And both eventually reached the Grand Final.

For Swata, the tournament started with the victory over tobi (3:1) in Round 1. Then, the player achieved the same score in Round 2 against KiXe (who played Asuri, Fait, and Koji in that match).

simpLe defeated hermissen in Round 1 (3:1, Bodvar vs Xull/Ulgrim) and Sarme in Round 2 (3:0 Bodvar vs Koji).

Swata and simpLe both had clear victories in the Quarter-Finals. Swata defeated Blaze (3:0), and again their Bodvar had to fight against three different characters: Brynn, Koji, and Xull. simpLe destroyed TheNinja729 (3:0), and the opponents of their Bodvar were Sydra, Onyx, and Jhala.

Seemingly easy fights continued for Swata in the Semi-Final. The opponent this time was acno? (Jaeyun/Koji). Despite having some good moments and close rounds, acno? could not do anything with the power of Swata.

simpLe had a much harder fight in the Semi-Final. The opponent here was Pavelski, and he was amazing playing Jaeyun with Greatsword. In game 1, it looked like simpLe had no chances to win at all. In game 2, Bodvar of simpLe was much stronger and managed to get the 1:1 score. The players exchanged games once again, bringing the match to the final one. Game 5 was very close (just watch it, guys). Pavelski even had a stock advantage in the end, but their opponent simply won (maybe because of a bitter recovery mistake of Pavelski).

Swata and simpLe played two matches against each other. The first one was the Winners Final. First, they exchanged games, but then Swata started getting some better moments, so they won 3:1.

Pavelski had a chance to avenge simpLe in the Losers Final. But it looked like the momentum was lost. Pavelski won only one game, and however close all the others were, simpLe got one thing that means the most - a victory (3:1).

Hope shined for simpLe in games 1 and 2 of the Grand Final. The player won them and needed only one to reset the match. But Swats thought differently. 3 games in a row and a wonderful comeback? That’s not a problem with such a high stake.

Swata is the Brawlhalla 2021 Champion in Europe. Congratulations!

BCX 2021 South America | Brawlhalla World Championship

Power Ranger had to prove their name in the fights for being the best in South America.

The first match against lores brought a relatively easy victory (3:0). Power Ranger played Magyar, and the opponent tried to do something by selecting Koji and Jhala.

Difficulties for Power Ranger started in the Quarter-Finals against yüz. Magyar and Teros exchanged rounds and brought the fight to the very last game. Probably, the impressive experience helped Power Ranger be better from moment to moment and thus get the victory.

The next opponent for Power Ranger was Kyna. The opponent took Bodvar for the first game and lost. Then, Kyna switched to Koji for the rest of the match. Games 2 and 3 were very successful for them. Kyna got a match point, but then Power Ranger made a character change as well. Ulgrim was a much better matchup in this situation and brought victories in two games and the whole match.

The Winners Final and the Grand Final were Power Ranger vs Wes.

For the first match, Power Ranger took Brynn to play against Ulgrim. After many back-and-forth situations, the fight ended with the victory of Power Ranger in the last game.

To reach the Grand Final, Wes had to defeat Fiend in the Losers Final (3:1).

For the final match of this tournament, Power Ranger continued playing Brynn. Wes tried Artemis but lost game 1 and switched back to Ulgrim. That was another very close fight (which would be a pity to miss, so watch it). After exchanging games, Power Ranger got a life advantage in the very last stock and won 3:2.

Power Ranger is the Brawlhalla 2021 Champion in South America. Congratulations!
