Final Free Week for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Offers Full Roster

As previously announced, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising is removing the free version of the game with weekly rotating roster once November rolls around.

Not sure if you can call it going out with a bang, since the whole thing feels rancid and cynical, but at least the final offering includes the game's entire roster.

They've done this a few times in the past, but it somehow felt more meaningful when people could still keep playing after the generous offer ended.

Cygames still hasn't made any statements as to why they decided to suddenly remove the free version, but some speculate that it's tied to an exploit that allowed people to essentially people to gain access to the full game for free.

If that's the case, it's certainly seems wise that instead of just patching the exploit, they are removing an accessible way to get into the game, and a way for people in difficult financial situations to still enjoy some GBVSR. All for the sake of shutting out people who likely wouldn't buy the game anyway.

To end on something more positive, X user Flupperich did a little rundown of how often each character appeared in the free rotation.
