The Street Fighter 6 patch has been out for about a day and the opinions on it are still coming in.
From the looks of things, there were winners, losers and neutrals in this patch.

The nerf hammer really came down on Cammy and Ed and it prompted pro player, Big Bird, to state that he believes a lot of the buffs and nerfs are heavily influenced by the impressions of the character in Japan.
It isn't clear if people love or hate the patch, but it is certainly a significant patch that will likely change the game's meta a bit. With the likes of LeShar and EndingWalker who are strong Ed players, it might force them to consider other characters. LeShar in particular felt the weight of the nerfs and even joked that he might switch to Terry Bogard.

EndingWalker wondered if Ed is still a viable character. For EndingWalker it could be interesting since he was a very, very strong Ryu player early in the game. Since Ryu got buffed, perhaps he might go back to the original shoto character.
There were a lot of pros not pleased that Rashid seemed to have gotten away with almost no repercussions, and he just might be the most hated character in the game at the moment. Evo winner, Punk hasn't said anything too significant about the patch yet besides a brief mention on how he's still looking to see how he feels about the patch.
