The players became the first representatives of the FGC in the organization
FaZe Clan has announced the signing of Tekken stars Joey Fury and HK Jr. as the first-ever FGC roster in the organization's history, potentially opening up directions for other fighting games.
Previously, FaZe Clan was represented in this scene only by Edgar "Sparg0" Valdez, known for his success in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Joey Fury, who has been competing professionally since 2016, made it to the top 50 players on the 2023 Tekken World Tour and is likely on his way to conquering new heights with the release of Tekken 8.
HK Jr. started his regular career only last year but has already managed to mark the title at Head Stomper and Tekken World Tour Challenger Sweden, as well as third place at the Red Bull Golden Letters.
The debut tournament for both under the FaZe Clan tag will be the Gamer8 Tekken 7 event starting today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
