Evo Controllers are Getting Wackier

One of the funniest things each year at Evo is the strange, fun, wacky, and weird controllers people bring to compete with. At this point, it has become an inseparable part of Evo’s spirit, like buffalo wings, apple pies, blue jeans, and baseball are a part of Americana.

Remember the Resident Evil Chainsaw controller from the last couple of events? This year we got something better. But let’s start with something cute and innocent: people are coming to Evo, bringing old and reliable classic controllers like N64, PlayStation 1, and even Sega Saturn!

But what about an arcade stick that looks like a Fender Stratocaster? It should be perfect to play as I-No!

There’s also this… which we can’t describe as anything, really.

But the highlight of the day was this person with the biggest arcade controller the earth has ever seen. They captured everyone’s attention instantly!
