EVO 2023 Won Tempest Awards' Esports Event Of The Year

Tempest Awards is an award in the gaming and esports business, and to be acknowledged when the competition is fierce means a lot. Evolution Championship Series 2023 won the Best Esports Event of the Year award. 

Among other finalists, there were the 2022 League of Legends World Championships, 2022 Overwatch League Grand Finals and two CS: GO majors: BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and IEM Rio Major 2022. All of these events are the pinnacles in their respective games, and production there is stellar. By beating such powerhouses, EVO and the FGC as a whole make a clear statement.
