East Coast Throwdown, the annual fighting game event is back again with a vengeance and has been announced to take place later in the year.
ECT as it is commonly called, has been serving the East Coast of the United States since 2010 and has been a place where memorable events and sick moments have taken place. Headed by LI Joe and managed by Zack Katterman, the event has been announced for a couple of things. The first is that the event has moved from its usual location to the much bigger Connecticut Convention Center and the second, even more important change, is that ECT will be one of the offline qualifying events for the Capcom Pro Tour which will see players eligible for qualification into Capcom Cup next year.
In a promotional video, LI Joe and Katterman sat down to give a few details about the event, including some humor thrown at the lack of substantial monetary prizes for competitors.
