South Town’s dancing king returns as the second DLC fighter of Season 3, bringing his breakdancing style back to Fatal Fury.
SNK has announced that Duck King will join FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on August 27, 2026, becoming the latest DLC fighter in Season 3. A staple of the series since the original FATAL FURY in 1991, Duck King brings his trademark blend of martial arts, nimble footwork, and dance-inspired attacks back to South Town. His return also continues the game’s monthly Season 3 rollout, following Rick Strowd and leading into Kim Kaphwan in September. Cedric Williams and Anri Katsu provide Duck’s English and Japanese voices respectively, while his long-running rivalry with Terry Bogard remains central to his story.
Duck’s new content extends beyond the versus roster, with both Episodes of South Town and Arcade Mode receiving dedicated storylines. In EOST, Duck is hunting down Wolfgang Krauser for a rematch after their painful history, while Arcade Mode puts Pao Pao Café in danger of being bought out, sending Duck into the King of Fighters tournament to help longtime friend Richard Meyer. It is a fitting setup for the character: save the café, settle a few scores, and throw in some dance-floor violence along the way. With Season 3 continuing through December, Duck is only the latest piece of SNK’s ongoing South Town expansion.
