CPT World Warrior Mexico: Results

The Capcom Pro Tour is having the busiest time with all those World Warrior finals across the globe. Mexico became another region where the eight best local Street Fighter 6 players fought for the precious spot at the Capcom Cup X, the main tournament of the season, with a whopping $1,000,000 first prize.

Earning the most points during weekly qualifying tournaments may give you an advantage, but it doesn't guarantee you win. This was proven again in the Mexican tournament: Andres "SolVNG" Martinez was only third-seeded, but it was more than enough for him to become a champion.

The final tournament was not a walk in the park for SolVNG: in the upper bracket final, he lost to Uriel "Uriel Velorio" Hermosillo, but later, he managed to come back and win the grand finals 3:1, 3:1.
